» The main purpose of the Division

To provide an extensive support to achieve the objectives & goals of the Ministry, through efficient financial Management while ensuring the maximum productivity.

» Principle Role of the Division

Maintaining of an effective financial control and management of assets utilizing the annual budgetary provisions.


	The Main Activities of the Division

Budgetary control.

Preparation and payment of personal emoluments of the Ministry staff.

Procurement of goods and services adhering to Government Tender Procedures.

Inventory control.

Guiding for the better financial control of other institutions coming under the purview of the Ministry by over viewing and analyzing their physical and financial progress.

Intermediation among COPE & COPA and institutions coming under the Ministry directing the relevant institutions to overview, analyze and implement the decisions and finding of the said Committees.
