The President paid honours to the statue of Premadasa offering a bouquet of flowers. Later, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, Madam Hema Premadasa and Minister Sajith Premadasa paid floral tributes to the statue.
