A delegation of the Government of Japan warmly received the President at the Airport. Officials of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Japan, including Ambassador Prof. Dhammika Ganganath Dissanayake were also in attendance.
On an invitation extended by the Japanese Government, the President will join several world leaders for the ceremony today (22) at State Hall of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
The visiting dignitaries will join a banquet hosted by the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe on October 23rd.
